This unavoidable domaine de Villié-Morgon has just achieved the maximum 3 stars in the guide of La Revue du Vin de France, placing it at the well-deserved pinnacle of the best wine producers in the country, after 8 generations of work by Desvignes family. The inspired fraternal duo Claude-Emmanuelle and Louis-Benoît, from the organic work in the vineyards, seeks a refined sense of aesthetics in the expression of each Morgon “lieu-dit”. The purity of the fruit, minerality and storage capacity of its wines is brutal, all vinified in concrete with stalks, in the old fashioned Beaujolais way.

Vineyards 70 years old, southeast exposed, in shale and disintegrated eruptive rocks. Traditional vinification with stalks. The stage lasted 10 months in cement vats.
