One of the most sublime family “domaines” of all times lives in silence in Piedmont and its gigantic value still goes unnoticed by the great “connoisseurs”. Established in 1928 in the heart of Castiglione Falletto, the famous cradle of contained strength, where intensity is expressed without weight and the elegance of its wines hovers in eternity. With the care of the Cavallotto family, these timeless classics represent the blessed lands of Piedmont in the most traditional, respectful and trustworthy way. In the words of celebrated critic Antonio Galloni: “Cavallotto may well be the greatest Barolo producer few people have ever heard of.”

The incomparable Vigna San Giuseppe is located in the heart of the property and MGA Bricco Boschis, totaling 3.78 ha exposed to the southwest at the perfect altitude of 335m. The vines were planted in 1961. It ferments with indigenous yeasts and macerates in botti from Slavonia with 'cappello semisommerso' for 20-35 days, remaining 4-5 years in botti, in the traditional way.
