Having worked in several leading restaurants, hotels and enogastronomic establishments in the Porto region, sommeliers and work colleagues Gabriel Monteiro and Ivo Granja followed the natural path of making together wines of emotion, on a small scale, and to express their experiences as tasters, but mainly a very special terroir. Right at the foot of the Serra do Marão, in the Parish of Fornelos, at 550 meters above sea level, a very steep vineyard is manually worked to deliver this white wine that reveals a profile of unique and genuine freshness from Baixo Corgo.
Wine:
It is on the slope of the Cortiçadas vineyard, in Fornelos, that the grapes that give rise to Pra Lá grow. Very close to the Serra do Marão, facing east/south, with a hillside altitude between 400-550 meters and shale soils, they gather all the characteristics for the production of elegant wines , minerality and great freshness. The grape varieties used were Viosinho, Arinto, Rabigato, Fernão Pires and Códega de Larinho.
