Producer:
Ar.Pe.Pe. stands for the founder, Arturo Pelizzatti Perego, and represents a vinous gem from Valtellina, nestled between the Rhaetian and Orobie Alps, one of the most beautiful and dramatic regions in the world, located in the north of Lombardy. True heroic viticulture is practised here on very steep granite terraces, a tradition that dates back to the Romans. The fourth generation of the family, with the inspired siblings Isabella, Emanuele, and Guido, reveals how sensational a great mountain Nebbiolo can be, with pristine purity, supreme elegance, tertiary aroma complexity, freshness, and mineral sapidity.

Stella Retica 2022
Stella Retica 2022 is one of the truest ambassadors of Ar.Pe.Pe.’s elegant and profound style in Valtellina. Named after the Rhaetian mountains, which dominate the region's horizon, this wine clearly expresses the essence of mountain Nebbiolo — with vibrant acidity, delicate tannins, and a nearly tactile minerality. A wine designed both for immediate pleasure and for bottle aging.

Tasting Notes
Visually, it displays a luminous ruby color. On the nose, aromas of red cherries, dried roses, alpine herbs, and crushed stone emerge. On the palate, it is precise and tense, with fine tannins and firm acidity — resulting in a subtle, gastronomic wine full of character.

Made from grapes from the highest and stoniest areas of Sassella, Stella Retica reveals a more ethereal and direct style within Ar.Pe.Pe.'s range. The respect for tradition, the absence of winemaking tricks, and the careful use of time make this wine a true portrait of Valtellina Superiore.
