6. Cancellation and Returns Policy
6.1 Temple Wines recognizes to all its customers the right to terminate the contracts they enter into with it, allowing them to return, within 14 days, of the products purchased under the terms of Decree-Law nº24/2014, of 14 February.
6.2 The cancellation or return process is handled on a case-by-case basis by Temple Wines. To request an exchange or return, the customer is requested to contact Temple Wines via the email info@templewines.eu within 14 days after the actual receipt of physical possession of the goods (order(s)), indicating the order number or number of the document that accompanied the order, taking into account the conditions detailed below in the following topics:
a) To return the order, the product must be in perfect sales condition , and where applicable with its original packaging, accessories or promotional offers included, and accompanied by proof of purchase or invoice.
b) The cost of transport for returning the product to Temple Wines it is the customer's responsibility
c) Temple Wines is responsible for the shipping and collection costs in the case of defective products and wrong shipments, unless this mistake is attributable to the consumer.
d) Once the goods have been received at our facilities tions and after validating the status of the same, the amount will be returned by the same payment method (see point 6.6), but if this is not possible, the customer must present proof of payment and account ownership or card, in order to make the return by Bank Transfer.
e) Temple Wines undertakes to reimburse the customer within a maximum period of 14 days from the date on which it is informed of the decision termination of the contract of all payments received, including the costs of delivery of the good, however, it is up to the consumer to bear the cost of returning the good, under the terms of paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-Law nº 24/2014, of 14 February.
Refunds must be made by the same payment method used by the consumer in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed to the contrary and provided that the consumer does not incur any costs as a consequence of the refund.
f) If the value resulting from the exchange of products of an order is lower or higher than the initial value of the same, the conditions of settlement will be indicated by Temple Wines.

6.3 Temple Wines guarantees the authenticity and conformity of the wines with their description. However, information on bottle levels and the state or absence of capsules and labels are given only as an indication. Temple Wines cannot guarantee the condition of the wines in their respective bottlings and is exempt from any problems that may have occurred during their production (reduction, brettanomyces, volatile acidity, etc.). Furthermore, Temple Wines cannot be held responsible in the case of wines contaminated by TCA (2,4,6-trichloroanisole), also known as a cork problem (bouchonée), due to the nature of the problem, or any other sealing or natural wine journey. The organoleptic characteristics are for information purposes only and cannot be guaranteed due to the changing nature of wines with less intervention.
6.4 Temple Wines will not accept the return of the product after use, or if it has been altered or modified.
6.5 Temple Wines is not responsible for deficiencies resulting from incorrect use, negligence, poor storage conditions or causes of force majeure
6.6 The conditions described in the previous points 6.1 to 6.6 apply to mainland Portugal. For the remaining Zones and/or Countries, points 6.1 to 6.8 apply.
6.8 For Zones and/or Countries other than Mainland Portugal, therefore, Madeira and Azores Archipelagos , Europe and Rest of the World, the cost inherent to the return of the good/order is borne by the consumer, and Temple Wines is responsible for returning or refunding the consumer of all payments received, including the costs of delivery of the good, under the terms of paragraph 2 of the article 13 of Decree-Law nº 24/2014, of 14 February, which will be made by the same means of payment that was used by the consumer in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed to the contrary and provided that the consumer does not incur any costs as consequence of reimbursement..
