━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Producer
In the prestigious area of Cambeses, Monção, cousins Sara and Pedro Covas carry on the family’s multi-generational tradition of crafting classic Vinho Verde wines, with a special focus on expressing the greatness of the Alvarinho grape. Their small, family-run winery is known for meticulous attention to detail — in the vineyard, the cellar, and the impeccable presentation of their wines and sparkling wines. Production is extremely limited, at around 15,000 bottles per year, passionately represented by the Temple Wines terroir-hunting team.

Description
An outstanding sparkling wine crafted from local red grape varieties of Monção and Melgaço — Alvarelhão, Padeiro de Basto, and Espadeiro — vinified as a white wine through direct, gentle pressing with no destemming. Made using the traditional method with secondary fermentation in bottle and extended lees ageing, this Blanc de Noirs reveals the freshness, complexity, and granitic character of high-altitude Vinho Verde.
