Wine Description

The Monthélie Les Crays 2023 authentically expresses the delicate character of Pinot Noir planted in markedly calcareous soils. The "Les Crays" plot, whose name refers to the presence of stones and limestone, is situated in a terroir with excellent drainage and ideal exposure for the balanced ripening of the grape variety.

The wine presents a firm structure, yet retains its elegant and ethereal character. On the nose, fresh floral aromas, especially violets, stand out, extending to the finish. The balanced acidity and light body make this red a seductive choice for those who appreciate reds with lightness, tension, and mineral precision.

From 2025 to 2032. Although charming in its youth, it can gain even more nuance and finesse with a few years in the cellar.
