Terroir & Story
Vinyle Branco 2023 originates from a centenarian* vineyard situated at 700 metres of altitude in the Serra de São Mamede — a cool, mountainous area of the Alentejo that lends natural freshness and complexity to its wines. The name of the cuvée pays tribute to the passion for music and vinyl records of Emmanuel Lassaigne — one of Champagne’s most respected producers — with whom Susana Esteban collaborated to create this singular wine.
*Field blend including Arinto, Roupeiro, Alicante Branco, Fernão Pires, Antão Vaz, Moscatel, among others.
The barrels used for Vinyle previously held the base wines for Lassaigne’s Champagnes, contributing a subtle, profound and distinctive character to this Portuguese white.

Tasting Notes
Expressive and delicate aromas of white fruit, wildflowers, dried herbs and a very pure mineral undertone. The ageing in used barrels is seamlessly integrated, resulting in a wine of great finesse, light structure, vibrant energy and an ethereal, luminous profile. It evolves in the glass towards more complex nuances, with a faint medicinal note.
Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate (94 points)
A wine of purity, elegance and tension, with a long and detailed finish. The critic highlighted the harmony between barrel and fruit, the aromatic nuance and the light, vibrant profile.
