Clos Cibonne Cuvée Spéciale Tibouren Rouge 2022
Cru Classé · Côtes de Provence AOP · Organic farming
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The most original and exciting red from Provence is born on a 17th-century estate nestled in the schistous hills of the Maure, just 800 meters from the Mediterranean, in the hands of the Roux family for nearly 230 years. The rare and ancient Tibouren grape—accounting for less than 2% of Provence plantings—and ageing in century-old foudres under a fragrant veil of yeast, the "fleurette", give this wine a unique style, the complete opposite of the easy and simple fruitiness of most of today’s rosés. Independence, character, history and a touch of drama — Clos Cibonne never fails to deliver!

Tasting Notes:
Brilliant ruby in the glass. The nose is generous with fresh red fruits, Mediterranean spices and dried herbs. On the palate, it is delicate, silky and subtly earthy, with refined tannins and an elegant, saline finish. A maritime, sun-kissed, and immensely refined red.
