H.O. Sousão 2018

Rubens Menin is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in the history of Brazil, and together with his partner Cristiano Gomes, they arrived in the Douro to build a new legacy of excellence. They bought two spectacular estates on the banks of the river, next to Crasto, and also Horta Osório in Baixo Corgo. They are opening one of the most modern wineries in the country and are counting on the brilliant oenology of Tiago Alves de Sousa to deliver new Douro classics.

Wine:
100% Sousão (Vinhão in Vinho Verde) with exposure to the east and schist soils, the different plots are located at altitudes ranging from 240 to 300m. Aged for 14 months in 225L oak barrels.
