Under the supervision of Romain Taupenot, the seventh generation, the family’s sovereign vineyard plots have been organically farmed since 2001, and the wines respect the transparency of their terroirs without the influence of new wood or any other artifice that could divert them from their firm, vibrant essence and pure fruit. Absolute quality is achieved through Romain’s respectful “terroirist” approach at his small domaine in Morey-Saint-Denis.

" A favorite spot for Romain, which he feels has really benefited from global warming (thus far). The bouquet delivers an explosion of ripe fruit, raspberry and strawberry together, with energy. It certainly fills the mouth and while the fruit is fresh at the back, this wine has much less of the peppery aspect"
