Domaine Latour-Giraud Meursault Les Narvaux 2022
- Inventory on the way
- We send it to the whole of Europe
The Girauds have called Meursault home since 1850 and the Latours since the 16th century. 17. Enough time for the small Domaine, 11 hectares, to acquire some of the best terroirs in the region, all worked organically. In times of scarcity in Burgundy, the producer granted us the allocation of only one of his cuvées, but a very special one, his Meursault Charles Maxime, which in 2021 was elevated by incorporating the 1er Crus Perrières, Bouchères and Porusots, due to the minuscule yields.
Score: 92-94 Jasper Morris
" There is a backbone to this wine, and a sense of precision, which is deeply impressive. Then comes the flesh you would expect from this relatively sunny summer. This wine makes quite a statement. Good natural acidity is part of the equation. Complex and complete agreements Jean-Pierre. 55 year old vines which never over-produce."
