Rubens Menin is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in the history of Brazil, and together with his partner Cristiano Gomes, they arrived in the Douro to build a new legacy of excellence. They bought two spectacular estates on the banks of the river, next to Crasto, and also Horta Osório in Baixo Corgo. They are opening one of the most modern wineries in the country and are counting on the brilliant oenology of Tiago Alves de Sousa to deliver new Douro classics.
Wine:
Magnificent Arinto with a total acidity of 7.0 g/l from north-facing vineyards at altitudes between 350 and 400 meters. Fermented and aged for 9 months in 500-liter used French oak barrels with fine lees. Periodic Bâtonnage. Only 1,200 bottles produced.
