The most exciting and authentic wines from the Algarve and the largest collection of old vines in the region, cultivated organically, in this family estate founded at the beginning of 1810 by the 1st Count of Silves. Joana Macanita and the 4th generation of the family, represented by Filipe Caldas de Vasconcellos, work exclusively with indigenous grape varieties and yeasts, and minimal intervention or ancestral methods to rediscover the potential of the Algarve. On another historic estate in Tomar from the 12th century, the family, advised by João Nunes, passionately revives wines once conceived by the Marchioness of Tomar in the 19th century.
