Damijan Podveršič is a true vigneron who accompanies the rhythms and signs of nature with fervent passion and obstinate attention, to extract from his magnificent 11 hectares in the Collio Goriziano, grapes with a perfect maturation of skins and pips, such as he likes to crimp, and not just the pulp. His innate genius took him to the apex of the “orange wines” movement in Friuli/Slovenia, in a very sui generis style. Now alongside their equally enlightened daughter Tamara, the Podveršič forge wines to dream and believe that the future of viniculture is to return to its past.

Wine:
Soil named Ponca – Opoka, formed by sandstone and calcareous loam. Maceration in large oak barrels for 60 to 90 days. Once fermentation is complete, it ages in 20 or 30 hl barrels for 3 years and rests for 1 year in bottles.

Vinous: 93 points.
