Forjas del Salnés Leirana Albariño 2023

Rodrigo Méndez started Forjas del Salnés with the help of one of the greatest exponents of Spanish viticulture, the great Raúl Pérez, and soon took this winery to the highest level of quality and, consequently, demand. These are wines of minimal intervention, in the best sense of the expression, made without any additives (only sulfites between 20 and 30 mg/l) from extremely old vineyards, some over 200 years old! These are salty wines, honoring the fame of the Salnés valley, which express themselves with verticality, tension and resist time like few others!

THE Forges of Salnés Leirana Albariño 2023 is a vibrant and authentic expression of the Albariño grape variety, originating from the coastal sub-region of Val do Salnés, in D.O. Rías Baixas, Galicia. Produced by Rodrigo Mendez, with the collaboration of the renowned winemaker Raul Perez, this wine stands out for its elegance and purity, reflecting the granite and Atlantic terroir of the region.
