Producer
One of the most sublime family domaines of all time lives quietly in Piedmont — and its immense value still flies under the radar, even among great connoisseurs. Founded in 1928 in the heart of Castiglione Falletto — the cradle of restrained power, where intensity is expressed without weight and elegance lingers eternally — the Cavallotto family crafts timeless classics that represent Piedmont’s blessed lands in their most traditional and faithful form.
In the words of acclaimed critic Antonio Galloni:
"Cavallotto may very well be the greatest Barolo producer most people have never heard of."

Description
Produced from the youngest vines on the legendary Bricco Boschis hillside, Cavallotto’s Langhe Nebbiolo 2022 offers a refined gateway into the house’s iconic Barolo style.
Crafted with the same traditional methods as their top wines: spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, extended maceration (20–35 days) in large Slavonian oak casks using the “cappello semisommerso” method, followed by 18 months of ageing in botti. The result is a serious and structured Langhe Nebbiolo.
Bright, precise and varietally pure, this wine delivers classic notes of sour cherry, rose petals and subtle spices, supported by firm tannins and vibrant acidity. A Nebbiolo true to its roots, youthful and full of vitality.
