Rubens Menin is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in the history of Brazil, and together with his partner Cristiano Gomes, they arrived in the Douro to build a new legacy of excellence. They bought two spectacular farms on the banks of the river, next to Crasto, and also Horta Osório in Baixo Corgo. They are inaugurating one of the most modern wineries in the country and have the brilliant oenology of Tiago Alves de Sousa to deliver the new Douro classics.
Wine:
Results from the combination of different plots of old vines, with about 25 H.O grape varieties with 110 years of age. The field blend is dominated by Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Sousão, with different solar exposures East, South and West and predominance of shale soils, the different plots are located at altitudes that vary from 250 to 400m.
