"One of my favorite Barolos. Harmonious, complete and complex. They do not intend to represent the modern or traditional style, they simply take into account the expression of the terroir". essence of Marco Marengo's wines. Marco was a biochemist but was asked by his father Mario to take over the tiny winery beneath the family home in La Morra, and a few plots in the finest Barolo crus. Everything is still handcrafted by Marco, his wife Jenny and son Stefano, to the delight of hardcore barolist players.
Wine:
Special Barolo from the municipality of La Morra (Fossati - Roncaglie - Boiolo - Serradenari). Fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, malolactic and aging in 225 l French oak (15% new wood each year) for 10 months.
