Winemaking
A rainy winter, followed by a fairly mild spring, allowed the vines to develop well. July was austere, the hottest since 1931, with three periods of heat waves, causing losses in the vineyards. The harvest began in the first weeks of August in the warmest areas and ended in the highest elevations at the end of September. 2020 is considered an excellent year for these higher elevations. Average production in the vineyards produced extremely fine wines with perfect concentration. The wine was aged for 9 months in barrels.
