Pedro Pimenta da Silva inherited one of the most emblematic estates for the production of Douro Vintages, which descends from 300 meters above sea level to embrace the famous village of Pinhão. A dormant gem for exactly 200 years, which provided old grapes and wines for some of the best Ports ever produced by traditional houses. Since 2019, with the help of experienced winemaker Bernardo Cabral, Pedro has been working hard to deliver the glory that belongs to Sabordela, and finally comes to the market with stunning whites, reds and Ports. Thus, a new legend is born in Pinhão!
Wine:
A classic blend from the Douro Superior originating from vineyards planted in schist soil, which expresses the tradition and character of Quinta da Sabordela, located in Pinhão since 1824. The blend brings together eight traditional varieties in a deep, balanced and elegant interpretation of the region.
