André Robert Les Jardins du Mesnil Grand Cru 2018

Le Mesnil-sur-Oger is the sacred grand cru of Chardonnay, the birthplace of Salon, Krug Clos du Mesnil and Les Chétillons de Pierre Péters, where the variety reveals its most uncompromising, elegant, deep and austere, mineral-limestone expression. The Robert family, now in its fifth generation represented by Claire Robert, cultivates 14 hectares of vineyards with total respect for the environment, of which 6.5 are located in Mesnil, next to the headquarters of this charming winery. The very low dosage, the malolactic lock and the meticulous use of wood in all the cuvées dictate the style of this precious and traditional Mesnil grower.

Wine:
100% Chardonnay  from Le Mesnil Sur Oger Grand Cru. Aged in 70% stainless steel with the remainder in wood. Malolactic acid is blocked. And long contact with the lees in the bottle, over 4 years.
