The admirable history of this producer begins in 1865, and this house has seen prestigious names in oenology, revered vineyards and even an acquisition by one of the most revered cult wines in the world, Colgin Cellars. With such a rich history, it would be no surprise that its wines demonstrate the strong pedigree that arises from the union between experience and famous lands, at a level of excellence achieved by very few producers in Burgundy. The current proposal of the brilliant Carel Voorhuis embodies delicacy, perfume and impeccable texture in wines.

A Cru very well located in Vosne-Romanée, south of the wall of the Grand Cru Clos Vougeot, with deep soils that bring density and aging potential to this noble wine. Carel used 45% of stems this year, but they are imperceptible in the test. One of the producer's great wines, it exudes the scent of perfectly ripened red fruit and complex tones of exotic wood and Indian spices.
