In the prestigious Cambeses area of ​​Monção, the Covas cousins ​​continue the tradition of generations in producing classic Vinho Verde wines, focused mainly on the great expression of the Alvarinho grape variety. The care and attention to detail of this small family business permeates every decision in the vineyard, in the cellar and in the impeccable presentation of its wines and sparkling wines. Production is extremely limited, approximately 15,000 bottles/year, defended with passion and knowledge by Sara and Pedro, and now by the pioneering team of terroir wines at Temple Wines!

The world's first Alvarinho vinegar!

Cortinha Velha aged vinegar is made from Alvarinho wine, specially vinified for acetification, in second-use oak barrels. The barrels are adapted to allow correct aeration and an optimum temperature so that the yeasts can transform the alcohol in the wine into acetic acid. The entire process is artisanal and natural. The wine is stored for several months in wooden barrels.
