The certainty that incredible wines would come was absolute. After all, our friend Paul Krug always had this vocation running through his blood, but not even in our wildest dreams could we have foreseen what was about to happen... from the first wine we tasted, our emotion was clear, uncontrollable, and exploded with every sip in that spectacular 12th century cellar in Pommard. Paul's detailed work on the terroir, the biodynamics followed to the letter, and the tireless work in the vineyards are enough arguments to justify this being one of the most spectacular domaines in France.

The delicacy of Chambolle-Musigny has something ethereal about it. And when this elegance meets the contemporary and precise vision of Commaraine Estate, a wine like this is born “Condemned” 2022 – full of finesse, freshness and subtle charm.

This wine comes from a small parcel of very special terroir, where fine clays rest on a layer of extremely draining limestone gravel. A soil that favors perfumed wines, silky texture and mineral profile, with an absolutely enchanting purity of fruit.
