Producer
The tiny Domaine Mee Godard works its old vines (average 60 years) with a fully ‘terroirist’ approach, in unique plots across the glorious communes of Morgon and Moulin-à-Vent, cultivated organically. Far removed from the generic image of easy-drinking Beaujolais, these are true terroir wines built to age — with structure to face a decade in the cellar. They perfectly reflect their magnificent terroirs, now fully understood and faithfully interpreted by the producer.
Mee Godard is a rising star in France and beyond, awarded "Star of the Year" by the renowned Revue des Vins de France.

Wine & Vineyard
The Corcelette vineyard lies on southeast-facing granite slopes and consists of two key plots: Bellevue and Montillet. The vines, averaging 70 years old, are planted at very high density (11,000 vines/ha) and trained in gobelet.
“Vinification is classic: whole clusters are largely retained and maceration lasts several weeks, with pump-overs and punch-downs adapted vintage by vintage. Ageing is done in concrete, foudre, demi-muids and barrels, depending on the cuvée. The resulting wines are pure, elegantly structured and traditional in style, with the substance to age, but also considerable initial charm.”

Tasting Notes
“If heavy satin fabric, draped in slow folds over ancient stone under the glow of a red stained glass window at sunset, had a taste — this wine would be it. Silk and stone texture. Red and indigo fruit with tannins like polished tektite stones. Long, long, endlessly long.”
The Morgon 'Corcelette' 2022 is one of Mee Godard’s most sensory and poetic wines, from 70+ year-old vines planted on southeast granite slopes in the Bellevue and Montillet parcels. Gobelet-trained, densely planted vines (11,000 vines/ha) draw out deep mineral expression from the terroir.
The wine is crafted with minimal intervention, delivering a luxuriously textured red with pure dark fruit, combining depth, precision and mystery — a Morgon with the soul of Côte de Nuits.
