Menin Douro's New Legacy 2018

Rubens Menin is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in the history of Brazil, and together with his partner Cristiano Gomes, they arrived in the Douro to build a new legacy of excellence. They bought two spectacular estates on the banks of the river, next to Crasto, and also Horta Osório in Baixo Corgo. They are opening one of the most modern wineries in the country and are counting on the brilliant oenology of Tiago Alves de Sousa to deliver new Douro classics.

Wine:
An incredible old vine over 100 years old makes up more than half of this glorious wine, complemented by 40% Touriga Franca aged 45 years. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel with completely destemmed grapes. Aging took place in 225l oak barrels for 18 months.
