Forjas del Salnés Goliardo Caiño 2020

Rodrigo Méndez started Forjas del Salnés with the help of one of the greatest exponents of Spanish viticulture, the great Raúl Pérez, and soon took this winery to the highest level of quality and, consequently, demand. These are wines of minimal intervention, in the best sense of the expression, made without any additives (only sulfites between 20 and 30 mg/l) from extremely old vineyards, some over 200 years old! These are salty wines, honoring the fame of the Salnés valley, which express themselves with verticality, tension and resist time like few others!

Wine:
Caiño vines  up to 180 years old. Fermented in open French oak barrels. Aged 24 months in 500L barrels from 4th to 10th  use and 7th grade foudre.
