In all of Rioja, a region brimming with history and tradition, only 16 century-old wineries still exist, and Gómez Cruzado is one of them, with its roots in 1886, the year of its foundation. The classic bodega Gómez Cruzado is located in the heart of Haro, and among the biggest traditional names in the region, it stands out for its significantly smaller size. The extra care of an artisanal winery is carried out daily to keep its tradition of more than 130 years pulsating in the winery's veins.
Wine:
Vineyards 90 years old on a very steep slope with limestone soil, with pebbles on the surface in "Las Laderas" and more sandy soil in "Calitrancos". 80% Tempranillo, 12% Graciano, 3% Mazuelo and 5% Garnacha.
It is very intense in its aromas and flavors, delivering ripe fruit with great complexity and freshness. The wood brings even more depth, with balsamic and smoky notes. The limestone soil brings freshness and polish to the whole.
