Gómez Cruzado Honorable 2017

In the entire Rioja, a region brimming with history and tradition, only 16 centuries-old wineries still exist, and Gómez Cruzado is one of them, with its roots dating back to 1886, the year it was founded. The classic Gómez Cruzado winery is located in the heart of Haro, and among the region’s biggest traditional names, it stands out for its significantly smaller size. The extra care of an artisanal winery is taken daily to keep its tradition of over 130 years pulsing through the winery’s veins.

Wine:
Old vineyards located in different villages on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria, from Lanciego to Labastida. A summary of the different terroirs that can be found throughout the Sonsierra. Mainly Tempranillo in this wine, with a touch of Garnacha and Graciano. Aged in French oak barrels and 20% American for approximately 18 months.
