In all of Rioja, a region brimming with history and tradition, only 16 century-old wineries still exist, and Gómez Cruzado is one of them, with its roots in 1886, the year of its foundation. The classic bodega Gómez Cruzado is located in the heart of Haro, and among the biggest traditional names in the region, it stands out for its significantly smaller size. The extra care of an artisanal winery is carried out daily to keep its tradition of more than 130 years pulsating in the winery's veins.
Wine:
Named after the Pancrudo mountain where the Cárdenas River originates, an area that in the past was dedicated to "claret" wines. 100% Garnacha, from old cultivated vineyards conducted in pots in the village of Badarán (Alto Najerilla), facing north and 650 meters above sea level. Vine grown on slopes with reddish clay-ferrous soil. Fermented and aged 65% in French oak barrels and 35% in concrete.
