The legendary trajectory of Pascal Marchand continues to reverberate in the glasses. And now more intensely, by bringing biodynamics to the making of low-intervention wines, in his domaine Marchand-Tawse. Pascal was at the helm of two of Burgundy's most acclaimed biodynamic domaines, the Comte Armand in Pommard, and another star of our portfolio, the Domaine de La Vougeraie in Vougeot. He has accumulated a prodigious experience in the terroirs of the Côte d’Or, and in association with Moray Tawse, they produce wines of stupendous quality, which express their origins with airy lightness and “goût de terroir”. Wine:
60 years old Domaine vines in very shallow soils, rooted in loam with a lot of decomposed limestone - finesse. 30% of the cuvee vinified with stems and élevage aged 17 months in lightly toasted French oak barrels, only 25% being new, and from the Allier and Tronçais forests. Just one rack, when bottling. All viticulture and winemaking guided by the lunar/biodynamic calendar. Biological Certificate (Ab Agriculture Biologique)
