Luís Lopes is one of Portugal’s most talented winemakers. Despite his youth, he brings an extraordinary depth of experience — from Comte Lafon in Burgundy to nearly a decade leading the classic wines at Quinta da Pellada, and through stints in New Zealand and at Alvear in Spain’s Extremadura. His personal project, Moreish, reveals a spontaneous, exploratory side — crafting distinctive, delicious wines from grapes and techniques gathered across his global adventures.

Description
Moreish Bical 2023 is a vibrant, pure white, made entirely from hand-harvested Bical grapes from Bairrada. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with native yeasts, followed by 10 months of ageing sur lie, adding texture and depth.
With just 27 mg/l total SO₂ and a thrilling 7.02 g/l total acidity, this is a tense, saline, electric wine with unforgettable natural vibrancy.
