Mullineux Iron Syrah 2020

Winemaking couple Chris and Andrea Mullineux arrived in Swartland in 2007, brimming with experience and ideas. In a very short space of time, they have built the most celebrated and exciting winery in South Africa, now crowned “Winery of the Year” for the fifth time in the country’s most respected wine guide Platter’s, for the past 43 years. Chris and Andrea have also been voted the world’s best winemakers by Wine Enthusiast and Tim Atkin MW, and although they are formidable technicians, their minimal intervention wines are in fact the purest expression of the local rocks: granite, schist, iron ore and quartz.
