Terroir & Viticulture
This wine is the result of Susana Esteban’s personal and meticulous search for very old vineyards located at 700 metres of altitude in the Serra de São Mamede — one of the freshest and most distinctive areas of the Alentejo. These recovered old vines, planted as a field blend of traditional white varieties, deliver an austere, fresh and deeply mineral profile.
Viticulture is entirely manual, with harvesting in small 20 kg crates and strict bunch selection at the winery entrance, ensuring the purity and character of the vineyard are faithfully preserved.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of austere character, with citrus notes, marked minerality and subtle hints of dried hay. The palate is deep and elegant, with firm structure, enveloping texture and pronounced freshness. Acidity shapes the wine’s profile, leading to a tense and persistent finish. A sober and sophisticated interpretation of high-altitude Alentejo vineyards.
