Domaine Gilbert & Christine Felettig Beaune 1er Cru Les Champs-Pimont 2023 | Burgundy – Temple Wines
Description
Les Champs-Pimont is a Beaune Premier Cru located immediately below the climat La Montée Rouge, in an area that benefits from excellent exposure and regular, even ripening of Pinot Noir. At Domaine Felettig, this cuvée has been produced since the 2018 vintage, sourced from a single, contiguous 0.54-hectare parcel, worked with rigor and sensitivity throughout the entire growing cycle.
Moderate yields allow for grapes of great balance, preserving freshness, aromatic depth, and precise tannin definition. Vinification follows the house philosophy: minimal intervention, gentle extraction, and extended aging in carefully selected barrels, fully respecting the identity of the Beaune terroir.
The result is a Premier Cru with a classic, elegant, and structured profile, combining precise fruit, fine texture, and excellent gastronomic appeal.
Tasting Notes
An expressive nose with notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, gentle spices, and a delicate earthy undertone. On the palate, it is balanced and enveloping, with polished tannins, well-integrated acidity, and a long, harmonious finish. A Beaune 1er Cru of great clarity and elegance.
