In the prestigious Cambeses area of Monção, the Covas cousins carry on the tradition of generations in producing classic Vinho Verde wines, focusing mainly on the great expression of the Alvarinho grape variety. The care and attention to detail of this small family business permeates every decision in the vineyard, in the winery, and in the impeccable presentation of its wines and sparkling wines. Production is extremely limited, at approximately 15,000 bottles per year, defended with passion and knowledge by Sara and Pedro, and now by the pioneering team of terroir wines at Temple Wines!

Vinhão, a typical grape variety from Vinho Verde and the Douro (Sousão), is made in a very refined way, aged in second-use French oak barrels for 16 months, and intellectual extraction makes the Vinhão tannins very fine and tamed.
