Ageing
Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels older than four years.
Tasting Notes
Pale garnet colour, with delicate aromas of pomegranate, sour cherry and wild berries, lifted by subtle citrus nuances of blood orange and ripe grapefruit.
Earthy forest-floor notes and gentle spice add complexity.
The palate is balanced and refined, with vibrant acidity, fine well-integrated tannins and a perfumed, elegant finish marked by freshness and precision.

Gradil, Mafra — a southwest-facing plot of less than 0.25 ha, naturally shaded by the adjacent pine forest.

Viticulture & Winemaking
Hand-harvested into 20 kg crates.
• 70% of the grapes were destemmed and gently crushed
• 30% fermented as whole clusters
Fermentation took place in granite lagares with regular foot treading.
Malolactic fermentation occurred in French oak barrels.
