General Description

Sidecar Branco 2022 is a unique white wine, born from a collaboration between Susana Esteban and the renowned Galician importer and producer José Luis Aragunde. The Sidecar project stems from the desire to share winemaking experiences and perspectives, giving full creative freedom to a special guest in each edition to interpret the vineyards of the Serra de São Mamede.

For this cuvée, Aragunde chose a bold path: full vinification in a 1,000 L chestnut cask, giving the wine an elegant, fresh profile deeply connected to the nature of the centenarian vineyard from which it originates. The edition is extremely limited.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright citrine
Nose: Fresh, subtle and elegant, with discreet notes of white fruit, fresh herbs and perfectly integrated wood
Palate: Fine texture, vibrant acidity and a mineral profile. A structured yet lightweight white, with a strong sense of origin and excellent ageing potential

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with delicate dishes such as grilled fish, shellfish, citrus-based salads, subtle Asian cuisine and soft cheeses. Also well suited as a contemplative, meditative wine due to its complexity.
