Before all his current notoriety, we came across Márcio Lopes at the very beginning of his career and the feeling was clear that he would become one of the great names in Portuguese wine in no time. And it was no different. At less than 40 years old, he has won countless awards in the main national and international publications, very high scores from critics, and the mention “Top 100 Wine Discoveries 2020” in Robert Parker. However, the Márcio we know remains a dreamer, focused, humble, family-oriented, friendly and one of the greatest interpreters of terroir we know. The “Ensaios Soltos” express his creativity in small bottled quantities that combine alternative techniques, indigenous varieties and/or abandoned terroirs.

Wine:
A light, translucent red, composed of: Alvarelhão, Tinta Fêmea, Pedral. Aged for 15 months in old barrels.
