Description
Grains de Celles is the flagship cuvée of Pierre Gerbais, crafted exclusively from estate-grown grapes in the village of Celles-sur-Ource, nestled in the southern Champagne region of Côte des Bar. The wine showcases the unique voice of the Kimmeridgian soils, and its inclusion of Pinot Blanc (25%) brings a rare aromatic lift and supple texture.
On the nose, it displays elegant aromas of baked apple, acacia blossom, fresh almond and ripe pear. The mousse is refined and energetic, leading into a palate of gentle creaminess, bright citrus tension and chalky minerality. This is a gastronomic Champagne with real finesse — both festive and food-friendly, built with purity and precision.
