Forte do Picoto 2022

100% Alvarinho · Certified Organic · Lisbon Wine Region

Ageing

Aged for 10 months in used French oak barrels, adding complexity without overshadowing the varietal identity of Alvarinho.

Tasting Notes

Distinct aromas of peach and orange blossom, with a subtle herbal nuance.
On the palate, the fruit merges with elegant notes of vanilla, brioche and hazelnut, the result of well-integrated oak ageing.
A lively acidity ensures freshness and balance, leading to a long, persistent finish.
An Atlantic-influenced Alvarinho — sophisticated, gastronomic and finely textured.
