6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
6.1 Temple Wines recognizes that all its customers have the right to terminate contracts entered into with it, allowing them to return, within a period of 14 days, the products purchased under the terms of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14.
6.2 The cancellation or return process is handled on a case-by-case basis by Temple Wines. To request an exchange or return, the customer is requested to contact Temple Wines via email info@templewines.eu atis 14 days after the actual receipt of physical possession of the goods (order(s)), indicating the order number or the number of the document that accompanied the order, taking into account the conditions detailed below in the following topics:
a) To return an order, the product must be in perfect condition for sale, and if applicable with its original packaging, accessories or promotional offers included, and accompanied by proof of purchase or invoice.
b) The cost of shipping the product back to Temple Wines is the customer's responsibility.
c) Temple Wines is responsible for shipping and collection costs in the case of defective products and incorrect shipments, unless such error is attributable to the consumer.
d) Once the goods have been received at our facilities and after validating their condition, the amount will be refunded using the same payment method (see point 6.6). However, if this is not possible, the customer must present proof of payment and account or card ownership, so that the refund can be made by Bank Transfer.
e) Temple Wines undertakes to reimburse the customer within a maximum period of 14 days from the date on which it is informed of the decision to terminate the contract for all payments received, including the costs of delivery of the goods, although it is the consumer's responsibility to bear the cost of returning the goods, in accordance with paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of 14 February.
Refunds of payments must be made using the same means of payment that was used by the consumer in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise and provided that the consumer does not incur any costs as a result of the refund.
f) If the value resulting from the exchange of products from an order is lower or higher than the initial value of the same, the settlement conditions will be indicated by Temple Wines.

6.3 Temple Wines guarantees the authenticity and conformity of the wines with their description. However, the indications regarding the levels of the bottles and the condition or absence of capsules and labels are given for information purposes only. Temple Wines cannot guarantee the condition of the wines in their respective bottlings and is not responsible for any problems that may have occurred during their production (reduction, brettanomyces, volatile acidity, etc.). Furthermore, Temple Wines cannot be held responsible in the case of wines contaminated by TCA (2,4,6-trichloroanisole), also known as cork problem, due to the nature of the problem, or any other problem with the sealing or natural course of the wine. The organoleptic characteristics are for information purposes only and cannot be guaranteed due to the inconsistent nature of wines with less intervention.
6.4 Temple Wines will not accept returns of products after they have been used, or if they have been altered or modified.
6.5 Temple Wines is not responsible for any deficiencies resulting from incorrect use, negligence, poor storage conditions or force majeure.
6.6 The conditions described in the previous points 6.1 to 6.6 apply to mainland Portugal.For the remaining Zones and/or Countries, points 6.1 to 6.8 apply.
6.8 For Areas and/or Countries other than Mainland Portugal, i.e. Madeira and Azores Archipelagos, Europe and the Rest of the World, the cost inherent in returning the goods/order is the responsibility of the consumer, and Temple Wines is responsible for returning or reimbursing the consumer for all payments received, including the costs of delivering the goods, in accordance with paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of 14 February, which will be made using the same payment method that was used by the consumer in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise and provided that the consumer does not incur any costs as a result of the refund.
