Tasting Notes

A white wine with soul and identity, expressing the pure character of the Bical grape variety grown on clay-limestone soils. Aromas are restrained yet complex, revealing white fruit, lime peel, dried flowers and crushed stone. On the palate, it is vibrant and driven by firm acidity, with a creamy texture derived from sur lie ageing and a dry, tense, saline finish. A wine that calls for food, conversation and another glass.

Winemaking and Ageing

• 100% Bical from Bairrada

• Soils: Clay-limestone

• Spontaneous fermentation

• 80% of the must fermented in used 500 L Austrian oak barrels

• 20% fermented in stainless steel

• Aged sur lie for 10 months

• Unfined

• Complete malolactic fermentation
