Oddero Poderi e Cantine Barolo 2022
Barolo DOCG, Piedmont – Italy
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Description
A Barolo that honours the long-standing tradition of the Oddero family, one of the historic names of La Morra. Sourced from some of Piedmont’s most prestigious vineyards — Bricco Chiesa, Capalot and Bricco Fiasco — this wine stands as a true classic, combining depth, elegance and authenticity.
In the glass, it shows a bright garnet red colour. The nose reveals an unmistakable bouquet of truffle, liquorice, শুকered flowers and spice. On the palate, it is dry and powerful, with firm tannins and vibrant acidity that promises long ageing potential. A true “Barolo di tradizione”, the kind that might have charmed even Hemingway, as once suggested by Gianni Brera.

Score
94 Points — Robert Parker
"For an entry-level Barolo, this is one of the best values available. It shows minerality, vibrant fruit, crushed rose and remarkable elegance. A great Barolo from the Oddero house."
