When Domaine Marquis d’Angerville set its sights beyond the Côte d’Or, it was clear something special was on the horizon. The creation of Domaine du Pélican in the Jura took four years of dedicated work, with geologist Yves Herody (who mapped the d’Angerville vineyards in Burgundy) identifying the region’s most precious parcels — including vineyards from Jacques Puffeney. When Jura and Burgundy meet, each bottle brims with energy, emotion, and finesse.

Description
A Pinot Noir of rare elegance and purity, sourced from the limestone slopes of the Jura. Grown in the iconic Clos Saint-Laurent, directly behind the Domaine du Pélican winery, this biodynamic Pinot expresses a raw, floral, and deeply mineral profile. The 2022 vintage delivers a medium ruby-hued wine, perfumed with dark wild berries, peony, and white pepper — a subtle interplay of rustic charm and refined elegance.

On the palate, expect fine, slightly chewy tannins with a saline, spicy edge. More supple than a classic Burgundy Pinot, yet with all the wild energy and altitude-driven vibrance of the Jura. An authentic terroir-driven red with captivating character, built to age gracefully.
