━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Producer
When Domaine Marquis d’Angerville set its sights beyond the Côte d’Or, it was clear something special was on the horizon. The creation of Domaine du Pélican in the Jura took four years of dedicated work, with geologist Yves Herody (who mapped the d’Angerville vineyards in Burgundy) identifying the region’s most precious parcels — including vineyards from Jacques Puffeney. When Jura and Burgundy meet, each bottle brims with energy, emotion, and finesse.

Description
The Poulsard 2022 from Domaine du Pélican is a true tribute to the delicacy and pure expression of Jura. It hails from the prestigious vineyards previously owned by Jacques Puffeney in Arbois, continuing an iconic legacy.

Vinified with the utmost respect for the grape — minimal extraction, just enough to reveal its soul — this is a wine light in body but profound in spirit. Juicy red fruit, fine earthiness, and ethereal floral notes weave into an absolutely captivating bouquet.

On the palate, this biodynamic Poulsard glides with silky finesse, no sharp edges — offering a creamy texture, fine-grained tannins, and pinpoint acidity. A red of low alcohol but high energy and drinkability, perfect for moments of sharing and contemplation.
