Description

Les Rocheforts 1er Cru is a Chardonnay-only Champagne from a single Premier Cru parcel in Bisseuil, where pure chalk soils lie just beneath the surface of an east-facing slope. The cool exposure preserves acidity and allows for slow aromatic development — ideal conditions for precise, mineral Champagne.

Fermented partly in oak barrels (50%) and stainless steel (50%), and enriched by reserve wines, Les Rocheforts offers vibrancy and complexity in equal measure. The result is a Champagne of laser focus and texture, showing notes of white flowers, lemon zest, and chalk dust, with a creamy tension that lingers.

An elegant expression of Étienne Calsac’s philosophy: clarity, terroir, and purity through minimal intervention.
