Description
The 2016 Vin Santo from Fèlsina is a moving tribute to Tuscany’s ancestral dessert wine tradition. The unusual inclusion of Sangiovese in the classic Trebbiano and Malvasia blend brings depth and character, while the extended aging in small oak barrels sealed with the madre ensures extraordinary texture and complexity.
Golden in color with coppery highlights, the wine opens with a complex bouquet of dried fruits — peach, apricot, pineapple and tropical tones. On the palate, it is dense, smooth and elegant, with beautifully integrated fruit and oak, lively acidity, and a persistent, well-balanced finish. A meditative and gastronomic sweet wine, made with time and soul.
