Description
The Mullineux Granite Syrah is the purest expression of the granite terroir of the Paardeberg in Swartland — arguably the most fragrant and vibrant of the estate’s “Single Terroir” reds. Made from dry-farmed bush vines rooted in decomposed granite soils, this Syrah offers tension, elegance and a distinctive mineral length.
Fermented with whole bunches in open 500L barrels, foot-trodden and using native yeasts, the wine sees a gentle 28-day maceration, followed by aging in large oak formats to preserve freshness and texture.
The result is a seductive, pure and site-driven Syrah — a wine with long aging potential and a strong sense of place.

Tasting notes
Medium to full-bodied, perfumed with crunchy red fruit, white lilies, subtle spice and delicate floral tones. On the palate, it is tense and refined, with polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, stony mineral finish. Intensely seductive and built for cellaring.
